Morty Ortega, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Natural
Resource Management and Engineering. Prof. Ortega's area of
research focuses on foraging ecology and predator-prey relationship
processes not only at the animal-animal level, but also at
the animal-plant level. More

Course Offerings
NRME 100 - Environmental Science
- 3 Credit Course
- An introduction to basic concepts and areas of environmental
concern and how these problems can be effectively addressed.
Topics include human population; ecological principles;
conservation of biological resources; biodiversity; croplands,
rangelands, forestlands; soil and water conservation; population
and water management; and wildlife and fisheries conservation.
Events
- The Environmental Science Workshop is
scheduled for August 14th on the Stamford
Campus from 9:30 to 1:00. Details on the day will
be announced shortly.

Master’s Degree in one of the environmental science
